Memberships types:
a. Paralegal - $100.00 per year
To qualify for a paralegal membership, you must have successfully completed a certificate or diploma program, or have a combination of post-secondary education and experience in qualifying employment. Paralegal members are currently required to work under the supervision of a lawyer, and provide a signed declaration confirming the majority of their duties are paralegal duties.
b. Legal Assistant - $100.00 per year
To qualify for a legal assistant membership, you must have successfully completed a certificate or diploma program, or have a combination of post-secondary education and experience in qualifying employment. Legal Assistant members are not required to be employed at the time of applying for membership.
c. Student - $20.00 per year
Student members must be enrolled in a certificate or diploma program, and must verify their enrolment. Student members do not have voting privileges.
d. Advisory - $100.00 per year
Advisory membership is reserved for members of education institutions which offer a legal studies program. Advisory members do not have voting privileges.
e. Alumni - $100.00 per year
This category of membership is reserved for existing AAPP members who have retired from the profession, but wish to maintain their membership with the association.
